A GARDENING business is doing its best to add to the island's green spaces.
The Green Roof Company was established two years ago by Josh Sexton, Tom Holland and Olly Abbott.
The concept is still relatively new to the island, but according to Mr Sexton is starting to be viewed as a way to improve urban environments across the world.
'As a small island Guernsey has limited room for development and is losing its green spaces, so it's important to build things that are sustainable.
'It's also a habitat for insects and wildlife and makes a roof, which would otherwise be a nasty eyesore, look a lot better.'
