AIRPORT information drop-in sessions have been criticised by some in the western parishes.

Deputy Al Brouard (pictured) said he was disappointed that Public Services had refused to attend a meeting with residents of the parishes near the airport in favour of open displays in the terminal building.

He said that, in a September parish meeting, residents had indicated a need for the department to attend.

'Drop-ins just do not get that clear message across and it was evidenced at the last meeting where various contradictory statements were voiced depending on when the residents had asked questions,' he said.
