Guernsey Airport runway was closed this afternoon after an incident involving a light aircraft.
Airport director Colin Le Ray said the single-engine locally owned aircraft had just landed when a tyre burst.
The incident occurred at about 4pm, and the runway was closed while the aircraft was removed.
There were no injuries, and the runway reopened at 4.30.
