'Horrified' at Albert Pier landing situation
A CRUISE operator's excursion manager has said new berthing arrangements for ships' tenders are 'horrifying'.

In an email leaked to the Guernsey Press, the Saga manager said that tendering was 'tough enough without the locals putting in hurdles'.
When the Saga Sapphire cruise ship visited earlier this month it found that as the guests got off the tender and walked up the pontoon it was now a lot shorter than it used to be.
'Meaning that during the times of lower tide (about 12pm on our visit) it is incredibly steep. Very tough for our guests.'
The Policy Council said that it had since been in touch with Saga, which had distanced itself from the comments.
