The Duke of Sussex will lay a wreath at the Fiji War Memorial during the couple’s first full day in the country’s capital Suva.

Harry and Meghan arrived from Australia on Tuesday and were given a traditional welcome ceremony in Albert Park.

The couple then waved from the balcony of the Grand Pacific Hotel, replicating the actions of the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh during a visit in 1953.

Meghan’s baby bump was clear during an evening reception and dinner hosted by the President of Fiji.

On Wednesday, the couple will visit the University of the South Pacific to watch a cultural performance on the effects of climate change from the Oceania Dance Troupe.

Harry and Meghan’s plans will then split: the Duke will unveil a Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy dedication at Colo-i-Suva, while the Duchess will attend a morning tea hosted by the British High Commissioner to Fiji and travel to Suva market to meet female vendors involved in Markets for Change, a UN Women project.
