In Pictures: Life on the beach as Britain basks in Easter weekend sunshine

Britons have flocked to the coast to make the most of the warm weather.

Most of Britain has been enjoying sunny and dry conditions over the Easter weekend, with temperatures tipped to reach 27C in some parts of the country by Monday.

Many people took advantage of the warm weather by heading to the beach on what the Met Office described as a “glorious day”.
