Traitor winning mock ‘Golden Cloak Awards’ plastered on billboard in London

A traitor has been awarded a mock “Golden Cloak Award” and celebrated with a large billboard in central London.

In a viral social media post, the BBC posted a short video of the billboard showing traitor Linda earning the Golden Cloak Award for the “performance of a lifetime award” after she narrowly escaped being banished.

Fingers were pointed at traitor Linda and faithful Dan during Friday’s roundtable, with Dan ultimately receiving the most votes from his fellow players, sending him packing.

The billboard shows a picture of Linda in a gold jacket while holding an award shaped as a person wearing the traitor’s hooded cloak, in a nod to the recent Golden Globe Awards.

The PA news agency understands the black and bronze advert is a real image on the billboard plastered above the Vue cinema in Leicester Square.

The video has gone viral on X, formerly Twitter, on Saturday and has so far received more than 154,000 views and counting.

The same footage was shared on the BBC’s Facebook page, which it captioned: “The Traitors’ Linda makes her billboard debut in prime position in Leicester Square”.

During the roundtable, questions were raised about why traitor Linda had cried following faithful Livi’s departure from the competition after she was ‘murdered’ by the traitors overnight.

The traitors faced one more twist before the day was brought to a close as their typically nightly murder was replaced with a secret mission to select four players in plain sight to play a deadly game.

Traitors Linda and Minah selected faithfuls Alexander, Anna, Fozia and Leon to play a game called Deathmatch, which would end with one of them being “murdered”.

Anna survived the first round while Alexander won the second, leaving Fozia and Leon to battle it out, but the episode ended on a cliffhanger without revealing who had lost the game and been sent home.
