Just plane sexist
THANK you for your coverage of the Guernsey Aero Club Open Day. I went along with my family and it was a great event. The only issue I have is your headline, 'Open day allows boys, and their dads, access to planes'.

I can vouch that the open day also allowed mothers, and their daughters, access to the planes too. I hate seeing headlines like this that subtly reinforce sexual stereotypes and could hold girls back in their career choices. Believe it or not, women can actually be interested in aviation and can even become pilots these days.
