Offer Games visitors 'home from home' experience
I WAS interested in your editorial on Monday 20 June re. the 2021 Island Games. I know that Henley Regatta had much the same problem albeit on a smaller scale. Their solution was to encourage homeowners in the area to offer accommodation and food etc. to visiting teams.

This not only offers a 'home from home' environment for competitors but should also result in many more locals being active supporters not only for the Guernsey competitors but also for the competitors staying in their homes.
We've only been on the island two years so this idea might already have been tried but if not it might be worth considering.
