My objection to the £7 a week waste charge
AS A single person living alone, I do not put out paper and plastic collection bags every week, but sometimes carry it on until the next week’s run.

Of course, domestic refuse, such as used teabags, paper food wrappings, veg peelings I put in the appropriate bags in due time, usually weekly.
I am perfectly able to take paper and plastics to the recycling sites as and when I need or want to. I pay my parish rates.
Therefore, I would object to any such charge as £7 per bag as a flag charge. If a system is tailored to fit in with current parish collection bills, or similar, I might agree with it.
Please can we have a better explained plan of action to consider, perhaps?
