How many deaths and infections are acceptable if borders open?

I WOULD like to put one question to Mr. Tim Chesney who is bringing a lawsuit against the States of Guernsey in order to force them to drop our public health protections (Guernsey Press, 10.9.20). The question is this: Mr Chesney, as you are supporting opening up our island to those who may be carrying Covid infection, how many infections and deaths have you decided are acceptable if you succeed? I hope you will answer giving the precise numbers – it is only fair that we should know as we are the guinea pigs.
