I look in horror at Trump’s generation
RECENTLY I read a Helen Hubert article about ‘toxic masculinity’ relating to Donald Trump and followers. I’ve been exploring the subject for some 60 years now. In my youth I hid my natural kindness for the very real fear of it being seen as a weakness in the company of other men. Only in my 30s working at St James as the only man did I feel confident to be in touch with my higher self. I’m now working at the NHS in Plymouth practising humour, grace and humility over 40 different wards. I look back in horror at my father’s and Donald Trump’s generation.
