The needs of all bus users should be respected
I AM elderly and disabled and walk with the aid of walking sticks. I have recently discovered the wonderful service to Guernsey provided by CT Plus Guernsey.
However, the seating in the front of the buses, for use by mums with children, wheelchair users and the disabled, is frequently occupied by others not having the same needs.
This has caused me some concern when boarding the bus and finding I am obliged to find a seat further back in the bus.
I have expressed my concerns to a spokesperson from CT Plus Guernsey, who assured me that they will take action to remedy the situation.
However perhaps service users could also help the company by having respect for the needs of others who will also wish to enjoy the comfort of the buses.
