Providing shelter for animals should be written into law

PERHAPS it is time for our government to look beyond building on green land and destroying all the trees, shrubs and wildlife and concentrate on capping the population. Perhaps it’s time a wider look was taken at many things. Perhaps one should be looking at the fact it is about time they realised animals suffer from the cold and wet weather as well as humans. It is about time they not only allowed places for animals to go for shelter but made it a law that shelter should be provided for them. Seeing those poor creatures standing in fields soaked and miserable with the darkness coming in and the temperature dropping overnight sickens me and I am sure everyone who actually cares. In fact there is no perhaps about it. It is actually time you people in charge need to look beyond education, building and in fact yourselves and sort something out to stop the suffering of these poor dumb creatures and give them a little sanctuary and comfort in their lives. After all, most of you are happy enough to see them on your plate further down the line. Sorry if that last bit offends anyone but it is fact.
