Lack of toilet facilities putting tourists off
MANY of our tourists enjoy a walk along our beautiful south coast. It would be a reasonable expectation that they should be able to find toilet facilities along the way.

There are toilets next to the Doyle Monument car park, which are helpfully marked on tourist maps. Sadly, these are closed and appear to have been for some time.
On contacting the St Martin’s constables, I was told this was the responsibility of the States. On contacting the States, I was told it was the responsibility of the parish.
So they remain shut – another nail in the coffin of tourism.
