I’ve enjoyed running the Cheshire Home shop, and I will miss it dearly
IT IS with much sadness I am no longer running the Cheshire Home shop.
Due to an accident in December it has thrown up other health problems so I am unable to carry on.
I would like to say how much I have enjoyed my years there and will miss it, but all good things come to an end.
My thanks go to all the fantastic helpers Alan, Rosie, Carol, Denise, Julia and Jan.
They have all been so kind and supportive especially with cleaning the shop. Rosie is a great organiser.
I would also like to thank all the customers who have donated and purchased items, you have all been very generous.
Thanks also go to Josh and Alex, to Christine at the Blue Dragon for our Friday lunches.
We have had sad times and happy times but I always tried to have a happy shop, a cup of tea and home-made cake was always available.
Two years ago our lovely landlords, Dave and Paula, revamped the shop and it was a pleasure to work in a bright open plan area. They have always been kind and helpful. Thank you for your friendship.
For myself it has been almost 20 years of having a job I have enjoyed very much. I have met some lovely, interesting people and made several good friends.
I hope in some small way to have made a difference to a wonderful charity, please continue to support them if you can.
Be kind to yourselves and remember, if you can, a kind act and a smile go a long way in this troubled world.
Love and best wishes.
