Selfish attitude displayed by suggesting further building only in the north

SO HERE we go again, the elite in the upper parishes want all the house building in the north of the island so that their little enclaves are not disturbed, heaven forbid. The building in the north of the island is beyond ridiculous, but as long as the upper parishes don’t have any new houses, then all is well. The residents in the north of the island are treated as though they are all second-class citizens and unfortunately our douzaine and constables seem happy to accept this. What a pity the island is becoming more divided with them and us. Put everything in the north as the quality of life for us obviously doesn’t matter. Such ridiculous statements came out from the St Peter’s meeting, for example new houses would be on the flight path. What about the houses on the flight path now, are they going to be demolished and what does it mean about driving into Town from St Peter’s? Such a selfish attitude from those who think they have the privilege to live in peace and quiet while the people in the north have to take everything all the time.
