TROY WATERMAN was legering with squid on the east coast the other evening, hoping for some nice bream.
During the session he caught a small bream, which he could not positively identify so he took it to Len Le Page the following morning for formal identification and weighing.
To his delight, it turned out to be a new record white bream of 14oz 8dr – beating Drew Archer's fish of 8oz 14dr, which was also caught on the east coast just a few weeks ago.
This is the third of this species caught since 2009 – the first weighing only 2oz 5dr.
