A DRAMATIC evening at the Track saw Bels miss the chance to go five points clear at the top of the Priaulx League.

There was no hiding Glyn Smith's frustration after he had watched his side create virtually all the noteworthy opportunities against a hard-working Vale Rec side, even after the hosts had been reduced to 10 men in a controversial second half.

Carl Wallbridge was the man shown red, although it came as a shock to most in the ground.

The incident came five minutes after Rec had taken the lead with a classic sucker-punch, having spent much of the opening 55 minutes keeping the hosts at bay.
