Slump ends at the double

NERINE B have ended a series of defeats with back-to-back wins over Nerine C and Cherry Goddesses.

The red-and-blacks played two games last week, beating Cherries 62-26 on Monday and Nerine C 42-31 on Tuesday.

During the first game there was some excellent shooting by GS Shelley Jager and a massive team effort saw the side more than double their opponents' score.

Although the score was much closer against their fellow club side, B proved to be the stronger of the two in the Division One clash that was played in almost perfect conditions.
