Reynolds eyes a top three spot by Christmas

JUST seven points cover the top five rugby teams in London One South after Guernsey enjoyed a fruitful weekend.

Not only did Jordan Reynolds' fifth-place side pick up the bonus-point victory they needed at Sutton & Epsom on Saturday afternoon, but at the same time Basingstoke and Old Elthamians, two of the teams above Guernsey in the table, were fighting out a 14-all draw.

'We had said before the weekend that one of the best results we could get from that match would be a draw because both sides would drop points,' Reynolds (pictured) said.

'That was perfect for us because we can now chase down the three teams immediately above us in the next couple of weeks.'
