Guernsey aim for top two

GUERNSEY return to action in the Senior British National table tennis league this weekend for the second round of matches of the season.

Both Sportingbet-backed sides had successful opening weekends back in September and each will be looking to build upon their promising starts.

The first team compete in the very strong Division One South, West & North, which is the second tier of British table tennis.

The team did superbly to qualify for the Premier league play-offs last season when, despite not earning promotion, they gave a sound account of themselves in the event.
