Guernsey move up into second place

BOTH Guernsey teams improved their positions as they enjoyed a successful weekend in the British National Table Tennis League.

The Sportingbet-sponsored sides are now second in their respective tables.

The first team were exceptional throughout the weekend against some very tough opposition in Division One South, West & North and managed to remain unbeaten over the course of their four encounters.

First up was the encounter against the familiar faces of Mossford I and a 6-2 victory was obtained.

Olly Langlois and Alice Loveridge each started their weekends off in style by recording two wins apiece.
