U14s make amends in real style

GUERNSEY Under-14s got their season right back on track with a thumping whitewash of bottom team Fawley in the Hampshire League.

After the narrow defeat against Tottonians last time out, Guernsey were keen to make amends and a good performance ensured that was the case.

They ran in 10 tries in the match, playing some excellent rugby at times and also defending with great heart.

Guernsey wanted to make an early statement and got on the scoreboard first with a textbook try, a series of strong forward drives allowing Pierre de Garis to feed the backs and from the breakdown, Cameron Hantonne went over.
