Watson in GB team

HEATHER WATSON will be a British international once again next month after being confirmed in the GB team for the Fed Cup in Israel.

The 19-year-old Guernsey girl, ranked number 92 in the world, is part of the five-strong team for the Europe/Africa Zone Group One campaign in Eilat from 1 to 4 February, selected by new captain Judy Murray.

British number three Watson is delighted to be chosen, taking her place alongside Elena Baltacha, Anne Keothavong, Laura Robson and reserve player Tara Moore, on outdoor hard courts that should suit most of those players.

'I had such a great time playing with the girls last year,' she said.
