FOOTES LANE will again be the focal point of the best in island sport on Saturday afternoon, with a vital rugby clash followed by an equally important showdown on the all-weather surface a long lineout away.

Under the lights, Guernsey's hockey men host Truro in the fourth round of the EH Trophy with a place in the last eight awaiting the winners.

Manager Andy Graham has named a full strength 16-man squad, which welcomes back talented defender Tristan Cairns, and Graham has been delighted with the greens' build-up.

'When we got the change made to the game with Truro's help to 7 January, we always knew that training between Christmas and New Year was going to be key to success. '
