Young returns as Bels target semi

IT IS quarter-final weekend in the Guernsey FA Cup, with Bels coach Glyn Smith looking to get his side's name etched on the trophy they so narrowly missed out on back in April.

His title-chasing side travel to Vale Rec in the pick of the four quarter-final ties, with Smith confident of going better than last year's losing final performance.

'For me, this is still the biggest cup competition and one that we desperately want to win,' he said.

'I am confident we can beat Vale Rec. I have a very strong squad, but we know they are a good side and did well against us in the league last time.'
