HE MAY only just be back in the island, but Ben Cormack is already making an impact in Guernsey's quest to regain the EH hockey Trophy.
The 21-year-old local-born lad moved to the UK as a child and spent both his school and university years there, but arrived in the island just in time for this hockey season.
He has already cemented his starting spot at left-back in the Sarnian team, who face a massive quarter-final tie against Sutton Coldfield tomorrow, as they look to lift the trophy they won back in 2009.
Cormack's playing style has caught the eye, as he is comfortable and composed on the ball, while part of a defence that has conceded just one goal on this cup run.
