NORTH will be looking to take another step closer to a historic triumph as they face St Martin's tonight in the first of the two midweek Guernsey FA Cup semi-finals.

The new Priaulx champions are looking to become the first side to win the knockout cup back-to-back, as well as being the first to win the league and FA Cup double in the same season.

North coach Ross Cameron is expecting a battle at the Corbet Field tonight, and is missing Jamie Le Cheminant and Stuart Roussel from his squad.

Tomorrow night will see Sylvans and Vale Rec take centre stage at Northfield, with Rec coach Martin Gaudion hoping his side can reach the final for the first time.
