THE format of this year's Channel Island Championships are still unclear as discussions are ongoing between the cricket boards of Guernsey and Jersey.
It comes as GCB chief executive Mark Latter has admitted that local weekend cricket is in need of major restructuring.
He had hoped that this season's CI tournament would be one 10-team league, playing each other once in a straight league format between May and September.
