MATT WATSON admits that selecting a side for Guernsey's crunch EH Trophy final against Gateshead next month is going to be a tough task.

The Sarnians secured a place in the showpiece thanks to a thrilling 3-2 extra-time win over holders West Hampstead in the semi-final, with captain Watson the hero with a golden goal winner.

He had also equalised in normal time after player-coach Andy Whalley had reduced the 2-0 half-time deficit the Greens found themselves facing.

That pairing, along with team manager Andy Graham, will need to select 16 for the match on Saturday 21 April, with Watson expecting fierce selection battles between now and then.
