DANNY ARBLASTER and Michael Serafin could not be split in a record-breaking start to the Easter Four-Day Race.
Both men smashed the club one kilometre time-trial record with a blistering, wind-assisted one minute dead.
The pair finished two seconds clear of Josh Gosselin and Aaron Bailey, the latter's effort being a new over-40s record.
When the action moved to the western parishes for yesterday's 26-mile handicap road race the honours were taken by former North, Athletics and Alderney footballer, Richard Moore.
