British Isles carrot for '55s

ISLAND bowlers are getting ready for another packed summer season which sees Guernsey entertain visiting teams from Jersey, Alderney and Florida.

Meanwhile, last year's British Isles qualifiers travel to Liandrindod Wells in Wales on the last weekend in June to compete for the men's British Isles knockout titles at under- 25s, singles, pairs, triples and fours.

The men's and women's Le Quesne Trophy inter-insular matches against Jersey have been brought forward from the first weekend in September to the last weekend in July in order to avoid Jersey Live.

This year's matches are both to be played in Guernsey.
