GUERNSEY could have as many as four or five cricketers in the Sussex professional squad within a decade.
That is the view of senior island captain Stuart Le Prevost, pictured, who is delighted with the Guernsey Cricket Board's new enhanced link-up with the county side.
A 'document of understanding' has been signed between Sussex CCC and the GCB, which 'provides a commitment on both sides to working closely together across all aspects of cricket on and off the field'.
One of the aims of is to have a Guernsey player in the Sussex pro squad within 10 years and Le Prevost is confident that can happen.
