You can be assured their best under-18s are also shaping up well in the physical stakes.

It was that impressive physicality which saw them shrug off determined and very plucky opposition in the form of Geraint Cooper's Guernsey team in the match which brought the Junior Siam day to a worthy close.

Clearly regular competitive action is proving of benefit to the local junior sides, but they still have a bit to do before they can challenge a side so well-drilled and physically honed as the Jersey Colts were.
