GUERNSEY are one win away from National League Three.

The green-and-whites came through their final away trip of this London One South campaign with a crucial 31-19 victory at Basingstoke on Saturday and now Hove stand between them and a second successive league title.

Player-coach Jordan Reynolds, who aggravated a groin injury early in Saturday's match and will be restricted to the sidelines at Footes Lane at the weekend, admitted that his side made hard work of their latest win but was happy to have cleared another obstacle in their push for promotion.

'Basingstoke are a good side and I think they will go well next year,' he said.
