Robin Le Cocq is to become the first in what is hoped will be a long line of young Sarnian rugby players to further their development by sending them to spend time with top Manawatu club Massey University RFC in Palmerston North.
In return, GRUFC could benefit from having players come the opposite way from New Zealand for the northern hemisphere season in future years.
Guernsey captain Blair Campbell is from Palmerston North and has played a major part in this exciting development to strengthen his side.
