ENGLAND World T20-winning opening batsman Michael Lumb has been named in the Nottinghamshire squad to face Guernsey on Monday.

The hard-hitting left-hander is part of a travelling contingent who boast some 429 first-class T20 matches to their collective names plus 15 Tests caps, 36 ODIs and 13 T20 matches, despite being without those players on international duty with England next week.

Also included is another current England T20I batsman in Alex Hales, who hit an unbeaten 62 against the West Indies in only his second international last September.

Former England players Chris Read and Paul Franks, who is familiar to local cricket followers from his outstanding performances in the inaugural GPL last summer, will be in action in the Rigby Taylor T20 Challenge at the KGV as well.
