Nottinghamshire and their hosts both treated the KGV crowd to many lusty blows yesterday afternoon as a mammoth 389 runs were racked up in the delayed Rigby Taylor T20 Challenge.
While the weather rained on Monday's parade, the sun shone 23 hours later and the batsmen did likewise.
From a Guernsey perspective, there were also positives to take from a youthful bowling attack's performance against a line-up of professionals capable of giving the ball a fearful clout.
'It was a good experience, particularly for our bowlers who were shown the importance of hitting your areas against quality players,' Le Prevost said.
