MIKE SERAFIN made it two out of two in the Delancey Park criterium races as he defeated Rob Smart in a thrilling sprint finish.

Having cruised to victory in the first event, Serafin had a far sterner test this time around against fellow elite rider Smart.

The pair traded blows for the entire distance of 25 minutes plus five laps, but Serafin opened up a lead with two laps to go that proved enough to hold out for the win, which delighted him.

'Myself and Rob both tried to break away from one another at various points throughout the race,' he said.
