Indoors then out

HEATHER WATSON was moved indoors – but was soon out in the cold at the Aegon Trophy yesterday.

After resuming her second-round match with second seed Su-Wei Hsieh on the grass of court three, the Sarnian and her opponent were soon playing under cover at the Nottingham Tennis Centre in an attempt to catch up to the schedule when the rain returned.

However, the relocation did not help Watson, as she lost in straight sets to the world No. 64.

Watson's next singles event is the Aegon Classic at the Edgbaston Priory Club in Birmingham starting on Monday.
