ELIZABETH COLLEGE finished their season on a high after gaining revenge on Victoria College in the second inter-collegiate match at the College Field.
The Elizabethans lost out in Jersey comprehensively last month, but the tables were turned on this occasion, an eight-wicket thrashing spearheaded by a super bowling performance.
Having restricted the Caesareans to 135 all out in a 50-over match under glorious sunshine, captain Zak Damarell then signed off his College career in style with 62 not out to lead his side home.
They won with 22.3 overs to spare and it was never in doubt, aided by a wayward Victoria attack which bowled 26 wides in that short innings and also mis-fielded on various occasions.
