Crowd a spur to Guernsey contingent

GUERNSEY'S top boxers will be out in the open again as the second Open Air Show takes place at the Track on Saturday evening.

After the success of the inaugural event two years ago, 16 Sarnian pugilists will be on show again as they take on a Manchester Select team in front of an expected crowd of more than 1,200.

Although plenty of tickets are still available, Amalgamated coach Graham Guilbert believes the atmosphere will once again make it a night to remember.

'This one should be just as successful as the first and all of the lads are really excited about it,' he said.
