HEATHER WATSON'S week got better yesterday with the news that she and Laura Robson have been handed a wildcard place in the women's doubles at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Wimbledon will host the tennis event, three weeks after the end of the annual Championships at the All England Club.

Britain's two other Fed Cup team members Anne Keothavong and Elena Baltacha have been given wildcards into the women's singles by the ITF.
