Despite having reached the third round of the women's singles the 20-year-old from Guernsey wore a face like thunder following her 6-0, 6-2 defeat to Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland on Friday.
In time she will come to realise that there is no shame in losing to the number three seed at Wimbledon, that this was a tennis lesson she can learn from.
