Champions confident of back-to-back titles

MOURANT OZANNES are in confident mood as they get ready to defend their Guernsey Premier League crown in tomorrow afternoon's final.

After winning the inaugural edition in dominant fashion in 2011, Mourants now face JT Giants for this year's title after a dramatic final round of group games last weekend.

They defeated Cenkos Centurions in what was effectively a semi-final match to secure top spot, only losing one of their six group games throughout.

That single defeat did come against Giants last week, but Mourants captain Lee Savident does not believe that will have much bearing on the outcome.
