Sensei making sense

THREE Level 2 and three club instructors from the Guernsey Judo Club completed a rigorous weekend revalidation course at the Grammar School gym.

It covered some 10 hours and was done under the watchful eye of BJA Technical Officer, Chris Doherty, 5th Dan.

Sensei Doherty took all the coaches through an intensive programme, ensuring that all aspects of the latest grading and promotion syllabus was covered and each attendee was fully conversant with the latest interpretation of the many techniques candidates would be required to demonstrate in order to gain their new coloured belts.
