ROSS KNELLER hit a brilliant century as Cobo edged a thriller against St Pierre at the KGV last night to keep their title hopes firmly alive.

When last man Adam Wakeford edged to Matt Renouf in a dramatic final over, St Pierre were just three runs short of Cobo's total of 153, which had been achieved off the back of Kneller's innings.

The island star hit 102 of his side's runs off just 62 deliveries, including getting his half-century from 28 balls, as he smashed 12 fours and three maximums in his solo effort.

He very nearly carried his bat, but fell to GH Smit with three balls of the 20 overs remaining, as only Justin Meades also reached double figures with 23.
