The Olympic Flame comes to Guernsey on Sunday 15 July, and we'll have reporters and photographers following it every step of the way, from its arrival on board a special 'golden' airbus at 8.17am to its departure for Jersey at 11.15.

The Olympic Flame comes to Guernsey on Sunday 15 July, and we'll have reporters and photographers following it every step of the way, from its arrival on board a special 'golden' airbus at 8.17am to its departure for Jersey at 11.15.

If you're going to be in St Peter Port for the big event, here's a map showing the route that the torch will take from Guernsey Brewery, along the seafront to the cauldron lighting ceremony at Pier 17 and back again.

Here's the details for the flame/torch in detail. The numbers show the point at which the flame will be passed to the next runner.

Timeline

?The Olympic Flame arrives in Guernsey at 8.17am.

The procession around Town seafront area follows from 8.59am, featuring local torchbearers.

It culminates in the lighting of the Olympic Cauldron at 9.50am.

The Flame leaves the stage at 10.12am.

Procession ends at 10.20am.

Convoy returns to airport in time for flight to Jersey at 11.15am.

Celebration of Sport begins as procession ends at 10.30am.

The events see Town's seafront closed for various activities including Velo Club races, from 11am to noon, and GIAAC races from noon to 1.30pm.
