Dutch will provide Sarnian youngsters with stern test

SOME of Guernsey's island players of the future will have the chance to prove their worth in two upcoming ICC Challenge Series against the Netherlands.

The ICC associate nation visit the island both this week and next to play Guernsey in a three-match series at first under-17 and then under-19 age level.

Consisting of two 50-over contests and one Twenty20 apiece, Guernsey coach Jeremy Frith believes that his sides are capable of upsetting the Dutch.

'The aim is to go out there and win the series. Both of our teams have improved a lot over the last year,' he said.
